The Jolly Farmers

Doing the Coast to Coast path or just enjoying a local walk?

Kirkby Stephen is on the Coast to Coast route and the Jolly Farmers offers ideal lodgings for walkers along the path.

Starting in St Bees on the west coast, the C2C path passes through the Lake District, the Yorkshire Dales and through the North York Moors.  It ends on Robin Hood’s Bay on the east coast.

Smardale Gill - stroll along the old railway line, over the viaduct, past an old mine and alongside the beck.

There are too many local walks to mention. The two we have featured are the Smardale Gill (left) and the Nine Standards Rig (right), both of which can be reached from our front door!
